Vacation Care Flyer

The Vacation Care program runs at the YWCA Centre throughout the school holidays (7.30am-6pm). The program offers affordable and fun holiday activities for the children of parents living or working in the Newcastle inner city region. Children must be enrolled at school and aged 5-12 years.

Cost is $50 per child per day (plus additional costs such as excursion/incursion fees). We are funded through DEC with parents eligible for the Government’s Child Care Subsidy available. Contact Centrelink for information regarding reduced fees and CRN number prior to returning your Booking forms.

To book in for July: 

FAMILIES WHO HAVE ALREADY ENROLLED & ATTENDED IN 2019

Step 1:  Log into your Xplor Parent Account https://web.myxplor.com/ 
If you’ve forgotten your xplor log in details, there’s a password reset button or contact us & we can reset your password for you.

Step 2:  Approve your CWA (Complying Written Agreement)  In your parent Xplor account click on Childs name (big grey circle) / CCS Agreements / I Agree (blue button at bottom). Repeat for each child. Once you click I Agree, this will generate your enrolment in your MyGov account.  Please note: You cannot do this step via the app, please ensure you are logging into the web https://web.myxplor.com/ With the introduction of the CCS, all enrolments automatically cease after 8 weeks so this process needs to be done each vacation care.

Step 3:  Confirm your Enrolment in your MyGov account  You now need to approve the YWCA Hunter as a provider in your MyGov account. Once you’ve signed your CWA, allow 12-24 hours for your enrolment to reach your MyGov. In the Centrelink section, Click on Menu/My Family/ChildCare/Enrolments. Look for the new enrolment (the “received date” should be June-2019) Please note “enrolment period” will start from June & doesn’t necessarily need to match the dates your child physically attends vacation care. Please don’t dispute your enrolment in your MyGov without speaking to us first, sometimes the price or date may not appear how you’d expect, a quick phone call or email to us & we can explain.

Step 4:  Select your Vacation Care dates  Let us know what dates you’d like to book in for! Download our Booking&Excursion Permission July19 form & complete it on your device. Email to yncle@bigpond.com. We will then email you to confirm your booking (within 3 days). If booking in for the Pulse indoor rock climbing excursion, complete their online waiver here https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/5167482a59c97/web/ We only confirm your vacation care dates once steps 1-3 have been completed.

 

NEW FAMILIES

Step 1:  Enrol Online  For all new families wishing to enrol for vacation care, please use this link

For any families who attended in 2018 but not yet in 2019, please contact us & we will send you a unique link to use to enrol online. Most of your details will be transferred across to the enrolment form, this will save you looking up CRN’s etc. 

Step 2:  Set up your Xplor Parent Account  Once we approve your online enrolment, you will receive an email directly from Xplor titled “Welcome to Xplor” with instructions on how to set up your parent Xplor account (check your junk mail if you can’t see it).

Child Care Subsidy:
The Australian Government introduced a new child care package on 2 July 2018. The existing Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate was replaced with the new “Child Care Subsidy”. To see how the new changes affect you, please visit: https://www.education.gov.au/child-care-package-families

Cancellations:
Please note: Changes to your booking can only be made by selecting an alternative day of care, if vacancies are available (within the current vacation care period).  Changes to bookings must be received by our office by 3pm on the day before the vacation care booking.  Booking cancellations are not accepted.  All non-attendance will be deemed as ‘absent’ and fees will apply.  For more information regarding this and other matters relating to our centre please refer to the Vacation Care Family Information brochure.
