Local Businesses Invited to Step Up for Women After Breast Cancer 💕

YWCA Hunter Region is calling on local businesses to lace up alongside the community in support of Walk for ENCORE, a fundraising event helping women in the Hunter rebuild strength and confidence after breast cancer.

ENCORE is a free, exercise-based wellness program designed to support recovery and improve quality of life for women following breast cancer surgery or treatment. Delivered locally by YWCA Hunter Region, the program provides not only gentle exercise but also vital connection and encouragement.

Sponsorship opportunities are now open, offering businesses the chance to showcase their community spirit while making a tangible difference for women across the Hunter. Packages include brand exposure at the event, acknowledgement in promotional materials, and the opportunity to be recognised as a champion of women’s health.

Walk for ENCORE will be held on Saturday 25 October 2025 at Empire Park Bar Beach, inviting the community to come together, celebrate strength, and raise vital funds.
