YWCA Hunter Joins Share the Dignity’s August Dignity Drive

YWCA Hunter Region is proud to be a Share the Dignity August Dignity Drive collection point, helping collect essential period products for people experiencing period poverty across Australia.

Throughout August, a pink collection box will be available at YWCA Hunter, 24 Dawson Street, Cooks Hill, where community members can drop off much-needed donations.

Share the Dignity works to end period poverty in Australia by ensuring people experiencing hardship can access the period products they need.

How you can help

If you’re able to help, simply add an extra item to your shopping trolley during your next shop and drop it into our collection box.

We are accepting unopened:

• Pads and tampons

• Period underwear

• Menstrual cups

• Reusable pads

• Incontinence products

Every donation, big or small, can make a meaningful difference to someone experiencing hardship.
