ENCORE Maitland Receives Community Grant Support

YWCA Hunter Region is excited to share that our ENCORE Maitland program has received valuable community grant funding from Club Maitland City.

This generous support will enable us to deliver another ENCORE program in Maitland, continuing to provide a safe, supportive space for women recovering from breast cancer. ENCORE is a free, 8-week exercise and wellness program designed to help participants rebuild strength, improve mobility, and reconnect with others through gentle exercise and group support.

Community grants like this play a vital role in ensuring programs such as ENCORE remain accessible to the women who need them most. With demand continuing to grow across the Hunter region, this funding directly contributes to reducing barriers to participation and expanding our reach within the local community.
