YWCA Hunter Proudly Supporting Share the Dignity

YWCA Hunter Region is proud to once again stand alongside Share the Dignity as an official collection point for the March Dignity Drive.

Throughout March, we are inviting our community to help end period poverty. Access to these basic items is something many of us take for granted. Yet for too many people in Australia, period poverty is a very real and ongoing challenge.

How You Can Help

We are collecting unopened packets of pads, tampons, menstrual cups, period undies, reusable pads and incontinence aids.

Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference. All products collected will be distributed by Share the Dignity to those experiencing hardship, helping restore dignity and reduce stress for individuals and families doing it tough.

Where to Drop Off

📦 Donations can be dropped off at:
YWCA Hunter Region
24 Dawson Street
Cooks Hill NSW

Our team will ensure all donated items are safely delivered to Share the Dignity at the conclusion of the drive.

Why It Matters

Period products are not a luxury, they are a necessity. By supporting the Dignity Drive, you are helping remove barriers to education, employment and everyday participation in community life. Together, we can create a community where no one has to choose between buying food and buying period products.

We encourage our members, partners and local community to get involved and share this initiative with friends, family and colleagues.

Let’s come together this March to make dignity accessible for all 💜
