YWCA Hunter Region is excited to announce that ENCORE is now officially listed as a charity partner on Return and Earn. Giving our community a simple, impactful way to support local women recovering from breast cancer.

We’re firing up the BBQ on Saturday 24 January at Bunnings Maitland to raise funds for our ENCORE program, supporting women in the Hunter Region after breast cancer.

We are thrilled to announce that ENCORE is coming to Maitland in 2026, following the success of our application to Maitland City Council’s Biannual Community Projects Grants Program.

On 24 September, our Board came together for a strategic planning workshop. The outcome was clear and exciting — our new theme for 2026–2028: Growing Stronger Together: Purpose Before Scale. This guiding vision will help us strengthen our impact, resilience, and community connections in the Hunter.
